Empty Expressions

Studies demonstrate that because we focus so much on Social Media, our personal interactions are suffering. There are in decay, which has many employers asking how can we juggle the new breed of abilities and implement them as a sales strength.  There fears stem from the lack of people skills exhibited, by many. The American Psychiatric Association has registered it as an addiction. There studies have demonstrated the increase social lack of empathy that is exhibited by many ‘Gamers’.

Balance is the key; social activities such as sports are a perfect way of adapting back to a social agreement of acceptance. Therapeutic in its very essence, sports have proven to lower stress, elevate the levels of happiness and increase the need for interaction.
Therefore serving as one of the keys to adaptation back into the social realm of society.  However the need for Social Media is the new trend that is thriving in business, so it is up to each one of to find a balance. We must learn to adapt as the world we live in is continuously bombarded by new technology.
The only thing in technology that is constant like in many things in life is ‘change’. Everything evolves into a new way to address the needs of the consumer. So reaching them in new ways is very difficult challenge. Advertising gave us channels of communication and in return we over simplified it into a clutter of emotional stress.  Now days we are so bombarded by companies commercial and call to actions that we overthink what we really need, that we fall for anything.
So being that Social Media can address this mystery, we must now be prepared and immersed in its uses. Correctly implementing into a social tool to meet our demands. If we can find the balance to answer this question, we have achieved our goal.  How long will it take, I have not the answer, but what I do know is that the key is in balancing our daily life activities.
